Internal Medicine

The team at Brighton Veterinary Hospital is highly skilled and experienced in treating a wide range of pet illnesses.

Symptoms that may highlight that your pet is unwell can include lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrohea, increased thirst, panting or pain.  Often owners just know when their pet is “off colour”.  We would encourage you to make an appointment to discuss any of these symptoms.

Your veterinarian will discuss a variety of treatment options with you that may include conducting further diagnostic tests to assist in making an accurate diagnosis but may also simply include a medication plan to manage your pet’s symptoms.

Emergency Medicine

We are always ready for the unfortunate event when your pet requires us immediately.  This may include your pet being hit by a vehicle, experiencing respiratory distress or an allergic reaction or being bitten by a snake or another animal.

For any emergency situation please come into the clinic immediately.  Appointments are not required and our nursing staff will ensure your pet is seen as promptly as required.  If you can telephone us on your way it can help us be prepared for when you arrive.
