After moving into a veterinarian position at Brighton Veterinary Hospital in January 2023, Alex has continued to grow her role within the clinic and now works as both a part-time clinician and in Operations Management. In her management role, she has a strong focus on nursing professional development, team support, and fostering a positive practice culture. Having worked as both a veterinary nurse and veterinarian, Alex brings a unique perspective to the clinic and is passionate about creating a collaborative environment for both patients and staff.

Alex has a particular interest in animal behaviour and the human-animal bond. Outside of work, she enjoys an active lifestyle filled with hiking, beach walks, and training with her young Border Collie, Basil. She also has a cat called Chipotle, who is learning to love her older brother Bas. When she is not outdoors, Alex loves spending time in the kitchen baking and decorating cakes. We are thrilled to have Alex as part of the BVH family.
