Dr Leila HaghighiVeterinary Surgeon

    Leila initially joined the Brighton Veterinary family in 2018 and has returned again in 2023 after having twin daughters and spending some time in New Zealand.

    Leila graduated from University of Adelaide in 2013 and initially worked in large and small animal practice in rural New Zealand. After travelling through Europe, she returned home to Adelaide and has worked in companion animal practice since.

    Through her career Leila has developed an interest in small animal medicine and a particular passion for small animal rehabilitation, in which she is currently doing further study to become a certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CRI).  This internationally recognised course is a 2-year specialised program that covers all aspects of canine rehabilitation.

    When not at work, Leila enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors in nature.
