Leila is a local community member of Brighton and was also raised in Glenelg. Leila attended Westminster School and graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and a Bachelor of Science (pre veterinary) in 2013.
Following completion of her tertiary studies, Leila worked in a mixed practice veterinary clinic in New Zealand where she got to experience veterinary work on both large and small animals, whilst exploring the beautiful landscapes New Zealand has to offer. Following her return to Australia, Leila worked at Semaphore Vet Clinic for one and a half years and joined Brighton Veterinary Hospital in 2018.
Leila has a professional interest in imaging and internal medicine. Leila is a dedicated volunteer at Living Ruff, an organisation that provides pet care for the homeless. She enjoys her community service and providing care for the pets who are important family members of those in our community who are less fortunate.
In her spare time, Leila enjoys being outside and camping, hiking, surfing and running.
Leila is currently on maternity leave and we can’t wait to welcome her back.
