Brian was raised in Marion and Seacliff. He attended local primary schools and completed his secondary studies at Sacred Heart College in Somerton Park.
Throughout his teenage years, Brian realised he had a keen affinity with animals. Brian’s parents put up with a veritable menagerie of lost and injured birds, dogs and other animals that he brought home to care for.
In 1999 Brian completed his veterinary medicine degree at University of Melbourne. Following the completion of his studies, Brian travelled around the United Kingdom working at a variety of veterinary practices. During this time, Brian treated a vast array of animals including gerbils and rats right through to sheep and cattle.
Brian commenced at Brighton Veterinary Hospital in 2008 and thoroughly enjoys working with the clients of the clinic, the terrific team and most importantly treating the pets.
Brian has developed a strong interest in surgery and performs a range of orthopaedic surgeries. Brian enjoys managing both medical and surgical complex cases and finding a solution.
When not at work, Brian spends his time with his wife, their three young children and Quinn their Irish Terrier. Brian has a passion for running, basketball and mountain biking.
