We’re delighted to welcome Dr Ruby Bishop to the Brighton Veterinary Hospital team!

Ruby joined us as a Veterinary Surgeon in June 2025, bringing with her a strong foundation in animal care and a genuine passion for veterinary medicine.

Originally from Adelaide, Ruby moved to Queensland to pursue her veterinary studies and graduated from the University of Queensland in 2023. She returned home after completing her degree and spent the past year working in an independently owned small animal practice before making the move to Brighton.

During her university years, Ruby also worked as a stable hand, where she honed her practical skills and obtained valuable exposure to animal care outside the clinical setting.

Outside the clinic, Ruby enjoys spending time with her dog, Sully, and keeps active playing netball. She’s also a keen drummer and avid traveller, having recently returned from an exciting overseas adventure.

We’re thrilled to have Ruby on board and look forward to the care, energy, and experience she brings to our team and our patients.
