Kim commenced with Brighton Veterinary Hospital in early 2023 after completing work experience placement with us and assisting with animal attendant duties.

She has completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies in 2022 and is to commence a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing later in 2023. Kim has a special interest in the care and wellbeing of all animals and she has a special fondness for large breed dogs. Kim has been a professional dog groomer for 11 years and prior to that she has worked in childcare and the airline industry. Whilst she grew up in Adelaide, she has also lived in Canada, Cairns and Melbourne.

Outside of work, Kim loves spending time with her family and partner on the York Peninsula. She loves watching AFL, bike rides and beach life. Kim has 2 dogs of her own, Penny, a 14 year old Labrador and Oakley, a 9 year old Labradoodle.

We are very excited to have Kim on board with us as she embarks on her Veterinary Nurse journey.
