Brighton Veterinary Hospital (BVH) commenced servicing Brighton, Seacliff, Somerton Park, Glenelg, Hove, Warradale, Marion and surrounding areas, as a clinic, in 1974 under Dr Gerry Deen’s tutelage. We evolved to Brighton Veterinary Hospital in 1988 taking residence in the current purpose built hospital. We are also proud that BVH was the second ASAVA accredited Hospital in South Australia.
As our staff and level of service has expanded, to meet increasing client demand, we still continue to offer a family orientated, professional and caring level of service to all our clients and their pets. One of the enjoyable aspects at BVH is to be now servicing the grandchildren of original clients that we were seeing in the 1980’s.
Brighton Veterinary Hospital is well equipped, both in staff and instrumentation, to provide increased levels of care and service to all manner of pets. We have consistency invested in our fleet of equipment and are proud to be one of the few privately owned veterinary clinics to have a DR digital x-ray machine which we installed in 2016 and more recently an ultrasound machine in 2017. These high quality pieces of equipment help us to make more timely and accurate diagnoses and to help return your pet to good health.
At Brighton Veterinary Hospital we understand that your pet is a treasured member of your family and our team will always treat them with empathy and care, as they too are a part of the extended BVH family.
