Cherie began working in the veterinary industry in 2013 as a receptionist at a small animal practice. She has since gone on to complete her Certificate III in Animal Studies and Certificate IV in Vet Nursing and has been qualified since 2019.
After several years in general practice, Cherie worked briefly in emergency and speciality surgery to gain more clinical skills before joining the Brighton Vet team in mid-2025.
Cherie’s passions include surgery and critical care as well as education. Cherie currently also works as an online educator for the Australian College of Vet Nursing and helps teach the foundation skills of nursing.
In her spare time, she enjoys strength training, fostering orphaned kittens, caring for her sassy tortoiseshell Twix, and her geriatric border collie Buddy.
